Free Viking game Hnefatafl gamesets

A Note on Copyright

The more we learn about the Second World War, the better our chances that it will be the LAST world war.

War must be confined to history books and games.

A Request: If you do assemble and play this free game of mine, PLEASE let me know at ELCOAT@hotmail.com what you think of it and whether, after more than a couple games, you think one side or the other has an advantage. Thanks!
And nowhere are the Hfenatafl gamesets. I suggest printing them off both on A4/letter size and A3/folio/11x17 sheets. The pieces from the smaller can be mounted and then there will be more room for them on the larger. Or you can print them off at A3/11x17 size and use the 2-piece map for more physically comfortable play. A good website for strategy and tactics is http://tafl.cyningstan.com/page/29/forming-a-strategic-plan, although you'll need to look around in it to ... "corner" ... all the sub-pages.

More comments by others about Hnefatafl can be read on BoardGameGeek.

Thank you for your interest in the game ....
